One such project is the development of a strip along Main Road in the Mowbray Cape Town CBD. In 2001, we boldly undertook a decade-long re-development project to reposition the strip into a vibrant mix of retail and residential units that preserved the suburb’s remarkable architectural identity, yet offered a modern infrastructure to serve varied small businesses and a diverse student community. This highly successful venture led the way to the re-energizing renewal of the area.
